Danish Cartoons...what is up with that?

Well, where do I start?

The Muslim community is talking about cheap provocation, while the rest of the world along with the Danish cartoonist is calling it democracy.

Do you really want me to tell you what I think? Well I am ashamed from being a human being. I don’t nor do I disagree with any fraction here. Because none of the two has done what it is supposed to do in times like these. The west for having ‘deux poids deux mesures’ in applying the freedom of speech flag. Because while they’re blaming the Muslim world for their reaction over the hurtful insult towards the only true and holly emblem that is left to them to aspire to, they forbid themselves from talking about other controversial subjects such as the holocaust.

And I am so sorry for what ‘MY COMMUNITY’ has done, what a shame? Burning flags and threatening people, oh my god! Haven’t you just confirmed this image they want to depict of us, you are just putting the nice touches.

Oh! I don’t know if any of you sees what I am seeing, they draw the lines and we blind as we are, we do the work for them. They say we are fanatics and we deliver, by cutting people throats on air.

I won’t go any further, but I will say Mashaallah!!

you seem genuine about your feelings, still what do you think muslims could do to show their angers properly. If they are already branded as savage then what is the fuss? If they are paying for it already?

When Islamic governments don't say much and western media is so behind the so called democracy what would you do? Just think.

Anonym,

I am not saying that is going to be easy, however we need to do it. Instead of me going down to the streets and break and burn all i see. I prefer to let the people who know how to get our disagreement heard loud and clear and without harming my image any further.

Why do you say that governments did not do anything? They have stopped dealing with the Danish GVT, some countries have even asked the diplomats to leave.

Tell me...what you think would give non-Muslims something to think about? And start searching to understand us better. Us stopping killing and breaking things around the way we do now, or continuing what we do and just confirm the hideous image the western media had drawn of us?

It is a long journey but a journey that is going to pay-off at the end.

I really appreciate your comment!!

Soumiaz,

Like other decent Muslims, I am not happy with this situation.

My advise to our Muslim brothers and sisters is If you want the world to respect Islam, we must respect ourselves too.
Respect must be earned not forced or threatened.

I do not know if you are going to read this, and i hope you will.
--To the anonymous:"If they are already branded as savage then what is the fuss?" Simply is that we have to stop confirming that. How? By defending our religion in the most civilised way, respect and without any violence.
